Donald Trump Borrows From Bernie Sanders’s Playbook to Woo Democrats

Using a qualitative approach with anecdotes, the journalist on this piece explains how Trump mocks Bernie yet is aiming to gain support of democrats by promises to increase minimum wage, as well as other aspects that are prevalent in Sanders' campaign.
Trump seems to be taking a step away from the conservative approach and taking a more Bernie-like stance on subject matters that he previously contradicted.
The article is ripe with information, though no hard numbers or stats are shared. All of the data shared is qualitative, with hints of bias and humor through word choice and sentence structure.
There are anecdotal portions of the article as well. Some of these examples include the nickname that Trump has given Bernie and other small side trails that relate to story but are not exactly crucial. The anecdotes make the story more interesting to read but the story does not need all of the small details in order to be a successful and effective piece.
Using statistics and numbers (quantitative) could provide for a much different story. Instead on focusing on the small details of Trump's altered stance, numerical data could show the effect that Trump is having on the polls by making changes in his campaign. With more cold, hard facts, the story may come off a little less bias, though, of course, bias will always be present. Or, having the story focus on Bernie or Clinton could greatly shift the message of the story. Trump spends much of his time in this piece bad-talking them, but getting Sanders' perspective on Trump's new angle could be a very important piece of information to include for a more well-rounded story.
Also to stray from the anecdotal aspect of the piece and add a more empirical feel to it could also give the article more depth and less bias.
